In the winter of 2002, Aaron and I went to Waukesha, Wisconsin to visit. Paul accompanied us later. I took this in a bathroom when our plane stopped in Kansas City.

This is a really neat shot I took on the CTA in Chicago. ... We took the CTA from the Midway Airport to the La Salle Greyhound Station (which took us to Milwaukee).
This is a shot of some place down the path of our Super 8 Motel. The taxi driver took forever finding it.
I thought the trip would have been a bit boring, but fortunatly a big name in the world of Pokémon gaming happened to live in/near Waukesha (LizardOTC, in the blue) and invited me to a couple tournaments. Behind him is Anti-Matter Steve.
Lots of kids, lots of fun.
Twins! I forgot which one won... and even if I could, I couldn't tell.
I never thought I'd actually eat at a REAL Rocky Rococo.
Rocky Rococo, at your cervex
Anti-Matter Steve gave me a ride back from Rococo's to my room, however his car broke down right in the middle of the road. Fortunatly the police came to the rescue.

Paul, drunk.

Aaron, drunk.

Paul decides to write in the room's copy of the Gideon's Bible.

We stayed in Waukesha for about four days... we left on the fourth day to meet up with dad in Michigan. We couldn't take all our food with us, so... we left it in the room.
However it turns out we couldn't leave because we racked up $500 in phone calls for our room. The night manager said for us to wait until the morning to talk to the general manager about the bill. So we stayed that night. Here's Paul and Aaron outside of a PBQ (it's like a 7-Eleven)
The general manager came by at 9 AM for me to talk to him about reversing the phone bill charges. Turns out he was some 18 year old kid, and he said he'll reverse it (yay!). We took a taxi to the Milwaukee Greyhound station... our driver was a Leopard Lady who talked about her wild youth. WOW.
It's Miller Park! ... After we were dropped off at the Greyhound Station, we went to Chicago then to Gary Indiana, were dad picked us up.
Happy New Year! We arrive in Michigan safe and sound, and now we're celebrating New Years in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Along for the ride was a slew of Van Lieus: Angenette,
Paul Van Lieu,
Pops and Aaron,
Pops with Aunt Cindy (Angenette's mom), and...
Angenette and Moi.
Pppbbttt!!
Some of the shows the City of Kalamazoo put on for us was a young Elvis impersonator,
And a Yo-Yo King. Which you probably can't see.
First picutre of 2003! Huzzah!
The morning after.... Paul is so cute when it's asleep.
Don't ever eat at the Stake N' Shake in downtown Indianapolis.
