DATELINE: August 1st

The Hajj is the personal and spiritual journey to Makkah al-Mukarramah (Mecca) every able-bodied Muslim is required to undertake at least once in their life. Although I'm sort of treading on sacred ground by calling my trip to Chicago a Hajj, I felt that it had a significant impact upon my personal and spiritual self. You'll see.
