Sherwood Forest
The second week of counseling was Sherwood Forest, camp for 4th to 6th graders. That week was torture, so much so that I barely remember it. Granted, I was a little bit of a... well I didn't follow the rules of being a counselor all that well. The kids liked me, but none of the other counselors did. What did piss me off about the whole experience though was that none of the other counselors, including the head staff members, had the balls to just walk up to me and say "hey, you're a bit out of line here". They put up with the fact that I was doing stuff they didn't like but doing nothing to actually change their situation. It wasn't until the last day when the top guy pulled me aside and told me the score, but it just pissed me off that he waited until the last day instead of putting his foot down from day one.
